In Episode 8 Gabby chats with Daniel Roytas about Naturopathic Philosophy. This is the opening episode of a mini series (Eps 8 - 15) on Naturopathic Philosophy, with each subsequent episode focusing on the 7 principles of Naturopathy.
 
Dan is a Naturopath, Nutritionist and Remedial Massage Therapist with over 10 years clinical and educational experience. He has lectured at a number of colleges and universities around Australia in the field of natural medicine and is currently the Senior Lecturer of Nutritional Medicine at Torrens University. He regularly presents for a number of professional associations including the CMA, ANTA and ATMS. He is a published author, public speaker and passionate about educating and empowering people, so that they can have happy, healthy and fulfilling lives. 

Gabby and Dan discuss many aspects relating to Naturopathic Philosophy, some of which include:

  • The 7 core Principles of Naturopathy
  • The Therapeutic Order
  • Where Naturopathy originated, and how it has changed over time
  • Key events in recent history which impacted public perceptions of natural healthcare
  • The simplicity of health - it doesn't have to be complex, and it is achievable for everyone
  • How harmony with nature is synonymous with good health, while a disconnection with nature manifests as dis-ease
